Real encryption, not a cover page

108pdf uses AES-256, the same standard used by Adobe Acrobat. Without the password the contents cannot be read, so the file is safe to email or upload.

Choose a password with 12 or more characters, mixing words, numbers and symbols. Share it by a different route than the file, for example by phone.

Permission limits

Turn on Limit what others can do to stop printing, copying or editing. These limits are kept by an owner password. Most PDF readers respect them, but they are a courtesy rather than strong protection.
